Program Description

This course will address the challenges associated with management of equipment and supplies used in the Transfusion Service or Blood Bank. We will address equipment selection, qualification, calibration and maintenance. The program will also discuss receipt, storage and release of supplies. We will also discuss the importance of a supplier qualification process.

Linda Stefaniak, B.S. (ASCP) SBB CQA(ASQ) CQM/OE has worked for Blood Systems for the past 4 years. Prior to her current position at Blood Systems Inc. she was Director of Quality Assurance at Miller-Keystone Blood Center for 15 years.
