Human Resources: Training Requirements, Delivery and Assessment Program Overview

Program Description

This module will provide a review of the regulatory requirements associated with Human Resources and discuss adult learning principles. We will discuss employee selection, training including adult learning principles, ongoing continuing education and staff competency.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the workshop, the participant will be able to:

  • Recognize the blood bank regulations that govern human resources
  • Discuss adult learning principles
  • Describe various methods to deliver training
  • Identify various methods for performing competency assessment

Speaker Credentials

Linda Stefaniak, B.S. (ASCP) SBB CQA(ASQ) CQM/OE has worked for Blood Systems for the past 4 years. Prior to her current position at Blood Systems Inc. she was Director of Quality Assurance at Miller-Keystone Blood Center for 15 years.
