Inspection Process: Who's Knocking at Your Door? Program Overview

Program Description

This program is designed to introduce the student to the inspection process and their anticipated outcomes conducted by various governmental agencies. It outlines the outcomes of inspections/assessments including the various requirements and timeframes of response.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the workshop, the participant will be able to:

  • List the various accreditation and inspection agencies
  • Describe the various agency inspection approaches
  • Develop steps to manage external inspections
  • Determine the available enforcement actions

Speaker Credentials

Linda Stefaniak, B.S. (ASCP) SBB CQA(ASQ) CQM/OE has worked for Blood Systems for the past 4 years. Prior to her current position at Blood Systems Inc. she was Director of Quality Assurance at Miller-Keystone Blood Center for 15 years.
