CLIA Hot Topics Program Overview

Program Description

Competency assessment programs have undergone increased scrutiny over the past few years as accrediting organizations ensure compliance to the CLIA requirements. What other CLIA regulations have become ‘hot buttons’ for accrediting organizations? This webinar will examine some of these topics (what does IQCP mean?!), and help you develop strategies for achieving successful compliance.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the workshop, the participant will be able to:

  • Describe requirements for competency assessment for testing and non-testing personnel
  • Define IQCP and how it relates to the blood bank
  • Discuss requirements for personnel qualifications, procedures, and other CLIA 'hot buttons'
